My Grammy and Papa took me to the Aviary today to celebrate my cast removal. It was sure warm, but there was lots of shade and ice cream to cool off. The birds were amazing and colorful. They have done some remodeling of the park so it was really neat. The birds came right up to us and we were able to feed them and look up close. Most of the females had nests to sit upon and the males were noisy. We saw an owl eat a mouse, and Mommy was afraid the pelicans were going to get too close. It was sure a great day.
The birds were awesome. They were all out because it was such a nice day. I'm discovering that I have a love for birds just like my daddy. We fed them and one of the peafowls followed us all around. We then got pooped and decided it was time to go, but not before we had ice cream which was a real treat. Thanks Grammy and Papa!

We had such a fun day with Sammy and mom and dad. Sammy is a real trouper when it comes to having a day out. Let's do it again soon! We love you sooo much!
