Gearing up for the Holiday's

You can feel the holiday cheer already! There is something about the Thanksgiving weekend that gets your cheer-o-meter going. I love the smell of the holiday wreaths at the store and feeling the furnace come on in the house. When Jordan was a little boy, he use to curl up with a book or sketchpad by the heater vent. Like father like son, Sam grabbed his blanket, sat his bum on the air vent and looked off peacefully in a trance. It is nice to dig out the sweaters and scarves and dream about the snow. Since we've been in Oahu, we haven't yet seen snow like everyone else here in Salt Lake. We are excited to see Sam react to the snow and we hope to teach him to catch snowflakes on his tongue. We purchased Sam some snow pants and we're going this weekend to look for a sled. We'll all be pulling on our expandable pants, stuffing our faces with turkey and yams and honoring the pilgrims pride. We'll think of all of our family and friends when we sit down for the annual movie..."Christmas Vacation". We sure hope you'll all have a wonderful, thankful Thanksgiving Day. Stay warm!
