Dad had a grand old surprise for Mom's birthday this year, we went to Gardner Village in the afternoon with Grammy and Papa for lunch and shopping.Later in the evening Daddy took us to Christopher's for dinner (which is Mommy's new favorite place) and then he surprised her with a carriage ride around Temple Square. The horse was named Ace, he was a nice fellow, very calm and sweet. We pet his head and he stood very still for our picture. It was a very cold night and we bundled up with blankets and hand warmers. We were a bit surprised at how rude some drivers were to the horses and how calm and steady he stayed despite the honks and fast cars. We love seeing them down town and we have a new found respect for them.It was so much fun.
