This was our first taste of a funnel cake. In all these years, both Jordan and I have never had one and we thought it would be fun to get one. They are delicious, we've been missing out all these years. Sam agreed and had his fare portion. Sam loved the animals. They were all so friendly to him. We stayed away from the goose that looked mean and the chickens were just boring as usual. We'd rather eat one than gawk at one. The sheep were so slobbery and left goop in Sam's hair. Of course we were well stocked on anti-bacterial wipes. The bunnies were a tight squeeze to get through and Erin got yelled at by some psycho minivan mom with a huge brood. Erin did see her velveteen rabbit that she'll someday get when she finds a cure for bunny allergy. Sam found a sweet little goat kid and they shared a cute moment. We enjoyed sweet tea (although is wasn't southern sweet) and ribbon fries and a big ole burrito. Yum! Jordan stomached a freshly fried corn dog and then we proceeded to walk around until our stomachs emptied enough for a funnel cake later on. So pretty much we ate nothing but junk...but isn't that what the fair is all about?

Looks like you are feeling better- so glad!
Aren't ribbon fries the best? We discovered them in Arizona a couple of years ago. I am glad they have finally made it to utah!
