There was a little bit o' sunshine today shining down on us. My Grandmother has been very ill in the hospital since Valentine's Day and we almost lost her this week on multiple occasions. Luckily she will now be transferred to a long term facility tomorrow morning. She's been calmer and seems to be more comfortable and capable of sharing her concerns and feelings. We hope it stays that way. There is nothing worse than sitting in a hospital watching someone you love suffer & almost pass away. My Mom has been amazingly strong while taking care of her and of course it's always nice when family comes together for prayers and kind words, hugs and kisses. Talk about gaining perspective. She's had a good and long life, either she will go towards the sun-shining light or bask in it's warmth for a little bit longer. Thanks to my friends and neighbors who offer me support and loving prayers.

I hope your grandmother can stay with you as long as she is supposed to. she sounds sweet. and i love that photo you posted. so pretty. and so hopeful that spring will come.
