Attempt at chic Halloween

I've probably failed at making my house chic for Halloween, but ah well. It's funny because I've been shopping around for some things online and in stores since early August and the black and white stood out to me...lo and behold it seems to be the "in" thing this year. Maybe it's always been in and I just didn't notice. I have several looks going on in my schizophrenic haunted house this year. I've got one room with just black and white accents.  A room with the traditional orange, candy corn cutesy stuff and Dracula's graveyard in my front yard complete with strobes, coffin and fog. I just couldn't make up my mind I guess. Sam is having so much fun which is all that matters and really isn't Halloween for the kids? Oh and Jordan since it's his birthday.

All of my windows have these fun spider drapes. Walmart for super cheap! Sam picked out this rat with glowing eyes. The latest survey taken on how much the average American spends on Halloween decor and candy. The claim is that the average American household only spends $38 total for decor, costumes and candy. Um, not me. How much do you spend? My Mom bought me this amazing B&W pumpkin at R&Co. I love it and it fit my theme perfectly.

Crows, crows and more crows. Could you really ever have enough?
We're having a party on Saturday night the 30th. Lots of food and fun and some trick-or-treating in an amazing neighborhood. Kensington Ave. seems to be a pretty hip place with tons of kids and so many amazing houses all decked out. Come by it starts at 5:30pm Oct 30th. Boohahaaaa!
