These super cuties were a great addition to the neighborhood parade. Everyone decorated their bikes and wagons and trikes. Spencer decorated his trike like an ice cream truck complete with the familiar tune. The Bishop led the parade on his unicycle. Ben and Miles decorated their wagon as a traditional covered wagon with huge longhorns and cooking utensils on the side.
The night before the parade we all decorated Sam's fire truck and he was so excited. He worked so hard during the week to ride his fire truck and to try and keep up with the pace of the parade, but come parade morning he got a little nervous and froze up. We ended up attaching a rope and Jordan pulled him. He won the "hottest decor" award. Sam handed out noise makers for all the kids and had buckets of candy on the side of his truck to toss out during the parade. We had an awesome view of the Liberty Park fireworks from our front yard. We had pork chops for dinner and filled water balloons up and had a little fight. Jordan lit some awesome fireworks in the driveway and then we shared ice cream with our neighbors. It was an amazingly productive day so naturally we crashed right in to bed.
This is Eric, he loved Sam's fire truck. We hope to have a play date with him soon.
